We have partnered with Beth Dixon of Salt & Acid to bring you the Outdoor Dreams' Cocktail Hour. For our Thanksgiving edition, we present a spiced rum cocktail that is perfectly balanced and wonderfully seasonal. This cocktail would be perfect around a fire to kick off your festivities or after dinner with (or in lieu of) dessert. And though we are releasing it for Thanksgiving, this delicious cocktail is perfect throughout the fall and holiday seasons.
With all of that said, we hope you enjoy "Home for the Holidays."
Ingredients
2 oz Aged Rum
1 oz Spiced Pumpkin Syrup
1 Cup Water
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Pumpkin Puree
2 tsp Vanilla
2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
.75 oz Lemon Juice
Instructions
Home for the Holidays
Spiced Pumpkin Syrup: Heat all ingredients to dissolve and chill before use.
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
Add ice and shake for approximately 20 seconds
Strain into your desired cocktail glass with ice
Garnish with a toasted marshmallow!
