Cocktails: Pear-Ginger Sangria

For our Holiday edition, we present an easy Sangria that packs a punch with spicy ginger and winter fruits. Whether it's Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's, this punch is perfect for parties all winter long.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Dry Red Wine

  • ½  cup Calvados Apple Brandy

  • ½  cup Pear Liqueur

  • 2 12 oz. bottles of Ginger beer

  • 1 Pear & 1 Orange, sliced

  • Seeds of 1 Pomegranate

  • 3 Cinnamon sticks

  • ¼ cup Honey syrup (Dilute 2:1 Honey:Water)

  • ¼ cup Lemon juice 

Instructions

Pear-Ginger Sangria

  1. Add all ingredients to a large punch bowl or beverage dispenser and stir well.

  2. Best if allowed to steep several hours before serving.

  3. Stir often while serving and garnish with the steeped fruit.
